A sweet little flip project in the heart of the CBD. This stunning home has been in the one family for generations. With a hard heritage overlay, and not much room for internal structural changes, we decided to work with what we have and make the most of this space. An ample kitchen, with a low coffee nook bench seat under the window was a way to achieve that cosy intimate setting, when the space for an island just wasn’t there. The bathroom homes an old claw foot bathtub which creates a sense of timeless belonging to the home. We mixed old and new with Phoenix tapware, creating a modern functional bathroom space, with all the details of a historical home.

The once dark and gloomy interior, now a refreshed crisp white to allow light to bounce around the space, and highlight the original details on the windows and doors. A great example of the powers of white paint.
